After 40+ years in Arkansas, the Martins are making Panama City Beach home. I love a good real estate journey, and this one has been such a fun one to be part of!
From Arkansas to the Beach
The Martins are Arkansas natives who have owned their home for over 40 years. Miss Glena has been coming to PCB for years with friends and has always loved the beach.
The Search Begins
Last year, they started thinking maybe it was time to make PCB HOME, so we started the search! Homes, condos, Gulf-front, residential, new builds, resale... we looked at it all! We even put in an offer on a 3-bedroom at Island Reserve, but just couldn't negotiate a winning outcome with the seller.
They decided maybe snowbird life was the answer and that making the big move wasn't in the cards.
A Change of Heart
But after coming down again, this time for a full six months, they both realized this wasn't just somewhere they loved visiting. This was HOME!
And funny enough, the home search started looking a little different, too. They realized Island Reserve really was the best fit for the lifestyle they wanted. We went back on the hunt and found that a smaller unit was actually exactly what they needed and wanted!
Teamwork on Both Sides
We had a fantastic agent on the other side (who just happens to be my coworker, Ron Rago!), and negotiations felt natural. Great communication, teamwork, and a win for both sides!
I am SO excited for the Martins and honored to help guide them through such a big lifestyle change. After 40+ years in one home, this is a pretty big next chapter!
What This Journey Reminds Me
This journey is such a great reminder that real estate isn't always fast. It's about listening to your clients, helping them explore what fits their needs and wants, and sometimes just waiting for the timing to align. The right home doesn't always happen on the first try!
I'm grateful to work in an industry that lets me build relationships with amazing clients, colleagues, and people. These are the experiences that make what I do so rewarding!
